Groups begin to gather in the square one by one. Dressed in a kaleidoscope of masks and costumes, they announce their arrival with the booming music of their bands. One can’t help but wonder if the rare masks—with their horns and bizarre colors—are meant to be little demons.
A massive crowd has assembled. For every group participating in the festival, an equal number of spectators has flocked to watch. The procession begins its march toward the Plaza de la Danza, where the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad stands.
Participants enjoy the carnival with upbeat music and exciting dance moves, while countless cameras click incessantly, desperate to capture every moment.
하나 둘 그룹들이 광장에 모인다. 각양각색의 마스크와 커스툼을 입고 각자의 밴드와 함께 큰 음악소리로 도착했음을 알린다. 희귀한 가면들은 흡사 작은 악마들일까 뿔과 희괴한 색깔들이 궁금증을 자아낸다.
엄청난 인파가 모여들었다. 축제에 참가하는 그룹들만큼 구경하는 인파들이 몰린다. Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad 가 있는 Plaza de la Danza 광장으로 걷기 시작한다.
흥겨운 음악들과 신나는 몸짓으로 카니발을 즐기는 참가자들. 그리고 순간을 담기위한 수만은 사진기들이 쉬지 않고 찍어댄다.
